HBKU Makes Shanghai Ranking's Top 200 In Human Biological Sciences

Doha: Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) has been placed among the top 200 universities in the world in Human Biological Sciences according to the 2022 edition of Shanghai Ranking's Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS).
HBKU's ranking is thanks to the work of the College of health and Life Sciences (CHLS) and the research institutes (QBRI and QCRI) in the field of Human Biological Sciences. They join other prestigious institutions, including Brown University, Universite PSL, and the University of Texas in making the list.

This year's GRAS lists more than 1,800 universities across 96 countries in 54 different subjects, spanning life, medical, natural and social sciences as well as various engineering disciplines. The rankings are calculated according to the universities' research output, research influence, international collaboration, research quality, and international academic awards acquired.
