Udyam-2023 kicks off in Assam to support MSMEs Guwahati, Feb 13 (KNN) The Assam government has planned to organise a chain of events under“Udyam -2023” with an aim to address the various challenges faced by the MSME sector.
The event commenced on Monday and it will be held across various places in the state giving a further push to the entrepreneurship drive.

It is being organized by the Department of Industries, Commerce and Public Enterprises.
Bimal Borah, Assam's Industry and Commerce Minister informed on Sunday that the government will also offer training sessions for those who have interest in entrepreneurship.
This will be provided in addition, to scale up marketing opportunities for MSME entrepreneurs.
The places where the fairs will be held are Tamulpur, Nagaon, Diphu, Sonitpur, Udalguri, Jorhat, Cachar, Kamrup, and Tinsukia.
“In today's extremely competitive and dynamic world, marketing plays a crucial role in the growth, survival of the MSME sector along with the suitable skill sets coupled with creativity, innovation, and cutting edge technology,” Borah said.
