(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, February 12, 2023, SPA -- The Riyadh Chamber of Commerce, represented by the Industrial Committee, will host the Sixth Riyadh Industrialists Council meeting on Sunday, February 19, 2023, under the auspices of the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Al-Khorayef. Titled 'The National Strategy for Industry and Introduction of Export Potential', the event will be held in the conference hall of the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD).
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Riyadh Chamber, Ajlan Al-Ajlan, noting that the meeting is held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, highlighted the importance of the Industrialists Council, a platform where industrialists and interested parties can exchange opinions, proposals, aspirations and requirements in support of the national industry, which is an important component of the Saudi economy.
Al-Ajlan stressed the importance of the industrial sector in achieving the Kingdom's Vision 2030 by diversifying sources of income as a strategic option in the development process.
He praised the support lent by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and of His Highness the Crown Prince to the industrial sector, with, as a result, great industrial growth, boasting more than 10,000 factories.
Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Industrial Committee at the Riyadh Chamber Abdullah Al-Khorayef said that the Riyadh Industrialists Council identifies opportunities and challenges facing the industrial sector in Riyadh through an exchange of experience and benefiting from the experiences of industrialists, adding that it is working with relevant authorities in industry to overcome challenges and boost investment opportunities.
According to Abdullah Al-Khorayef, this session of the Council is expected to discuss the national strategy for industry and point out export potentials to the participating officials from the public and private sectors.
The Riyadh Industrialists Council aims to strengthen Riyadh industrialists' networking with a view to projecting a positive image of the industry and industrialists.
