SAN FRANCISCO - AxiCom, WPP's tech specialist agency, has hired Ketchum's Jake Green as a senior VP of strategic planning.
In the newly created role, Green will be part of the agency's largest US and international client teams while also supporting the built out of AxiCom's strategy and creative group. He will be part of the US leadership team.
Green is joining AxiCom after more than four years at Ketchum, where he served as VP of strategic & creative planning. Before Ketchum, he spent six-plus years at Kwittken (now KWT Global), most recently as a London-based associate director.
Green is the first AxiCom leader hired under the watch of lisa sullivan , who joined the firm, also from Ketchum, last September to lead the firm's North America business. Bringing on Green, she said, is part of agency leaders' ongoing effort to bolster AxiCom's presence in the US and internationally.
“Based in San Francisco, and with experience working in both New York and London, Jake brings a uniquely tech-first lens to strategic planning that sets him apart and makes him ideally suited to AxiCom,” Sullivan said.“Whether we're working with B2B tech brands, or companies across any industry that have a technology story to tell, Jake will help us get to the root of the business challenges we're helping our clients to solve.”
