US VP Demonstrates Support To Ukraine, Attends Munich Security Conference
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) WASHINGTON, Feb 7 (KUNA) -- United States Vice President Kamala Harris will travel to Germany next week to attend the 2023 Munich Security Conference; a visit demonstrating US commitment to supporting Ukraine, the VP's office announced Monday.
Harris' visit, from the 16th to the 18th of February, 'will demonstrate Transatlantic unity and resolve; US global leadership and our enduring commitment to support Ukraine,' Vice President's Press Secretary Kirsten Allen mentioned in statement.
'In addition to delivering a speech as part of the conference, the Vice President will meet with foreign leaders and continue intensive diplomatic engagement with allies and partners regarding the war in Ukraine as well as other regional and global issues,' the statement added. (end)
