'Ecuador: The Country Of Four Worlds' Presented In Qatar

Doha: The Embassy of Ecuador to the State of Qatar and the Franz Del Castillo International Foundation, is hosting the exhibition: 'Ecuador, the country of the four worlds' by the Ecuadorian painter and artist Franz Del Castillo.

The pictorial series has more than twenty works that portray the flora and fauna of the country, through the technique of spontaneous realism.

'Ecuador, the country of the four worlds' is the first pictorial exhibition carried out by an Ecuadorian artist in the country, and it is presented until February 5 at Katara Cultural Village.

The inauguration ceremony of the exhibition was attended by personalities from the cultural field of the region, as well as several ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions. As part of the inauguration ceremony, a traditional dance was performed by the group“Ecuadormanta C'uyai”, made up of Ecuadorians residing in Doha.

Awarded several national and international distinctions, Del Castillo is recognised for having portrayed more than two hundred celebrities and world leaders, as well as for obtaining a Guinness Record for becoming the fastest cartoonist, after drawing 163 live models in one hour, in the Chota community in Ibarra, Ecuador.
