GCC Chief Condemns Bombing In Pakistan


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, Jan 30 (KUNA) -- GCC Secretary General Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf
Condemned on Monday the suicide bombing that targeted a mosque in the Pakistani city of Peshawar, which left scores of people dead and wounded.
In a statement, GCC chief Al-Hajraf expressed the organization's solidarity with Pakistan, affirming its firm position against terrorism in all its forms, and offering its deep condolences to the victims of the attack.
Earlier, a suicide blast took place inside a mosque in Pakistan's Peshawar city-bordering Afghanistan claimed the lives of 50 people with another 157 injured. (end)
