This was stated by the spokesman for the Air Force Command, Colonel Yuriy Ihnat, who spoke at a briefing at the Ukraine-Ukrinform media Center.
'This type of multi-purpose aircraft, most common in the world, and the F-16 is one of these aircraft, could be the best option for the Air Force to become its single main aircraft, a single type of multi-purpose warplane,' Ihnat said.
According to the spokesman, the F-16 fighter can strike ground targets with various types of weapons, as well as become part of air defense capabilities, protecting the sky from air attacks.
