(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The head of the procurement department at the UK Defense Ministry, Alex Chalk, said that the Challenger 2 tanks will arrive in Ukraine at the end of March.

This is reported by reuters , according to Ukrinform.

Reporting in the British Parliament on when the Challenger 2 tanks will arrive in Ukraine, Chalk said the government plans to deliver them late March.

He noted that by this time the Ukrainian military will have undergone intensive training in operating and maintaining these combat vehicles.

As reported, Great Britain announced the handover of 14 modern Challenger 2 main battle tanks to Ukraine.
