Kuwait Min.: Civil Service Council To Decide On 'Strategic Alternative To Pay'

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Jan 18 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Barrak Al-Shaitan said the cabinet has referred the blueprint of a regulation on 'the strategic alternative to the pay and salaries' to the Civil Service Council.
The Council has to make a judgement on the regulation, based on a study by the Civil Service Commission, before final endorsement, the minister told KUNA on Wednesday.
'The study of strategic alternative to pay rise is part of the ninth chapter of the government action program for the 17th legislative term (2022-2026) tilted 'Workforce,'' Al-Shaitan pointed out.
The envisaged timeline of the strategic alternative spans over three phases, starting with the approval of the blueprint by the Civil Service Council. (end)
