OIC General Secretariat Condemns Suicide Blast Outside Afghan Foreign Ministry

(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Jeddah, January 12, 2023, SPA -- The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the deplorable suicide explosion on 11 January 2023 outside the Foreign Ministry of Afghanistan, which left dozens of casualties and many others injured.
The General Secretariat reaffirmed the steadfast position of the OIC in its support of Afghanistan in fighting all forms of terrorism and bringing perpetrators of terrorist acts to justice, and holding them to account.
As it has stated repeatedly, the General Secretariat believes that for Afghanistan to regain political stability and much-needed security countrywide, any groups or individuals resorting to blind and blood-shedding violence need to be relentlessly combated.
The General Secretariat extended its condolences to the victims' families and wished the wounded a quick recovery.
