Al Harami Receives Nepali Media Delegation

DOHA: A Nepali media delegation participating in the coverage of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 has visited Dar Al Sharq Media Group.

Deputy CEO of Dar Al Sharq Jaber Salem Al Harami received the delegation comprising President of the Journalists Association, heads and editors-in-chief of websites and media outlets, and sport journalists.

Jaber Al Harami welcomed the delegation, wishing them a pleasant stay in Qatar and enjoying the World Cup matches and accompanying events. 

He briefed them about Dar Al Sharq Media Group and the daily newspapers it contains, including The Peninsula (English), Al Sharq, Al Arab (Arabic), Lusail (specialized in economic affairs) and Jassim Magazine ( It specializes in children), in addition to the websites, media platforms and subsidiaries of the group in a number of fields.

The delegation praised the warm reception, the high level management of mega sporting event, world-class stadiums, facilities, infrastructure, and a transportation network with high efficiency and capacity, which made World Cup Qatar 2022 best one.

They described what they saw, starting with opening ceremony until the moment dazzling for everyone who watched the tournament.

The delegation expressed its aspiration for bilateral cooperation in the field of media, expressing their hope to enhance communication during the next stage.
