The deputy PM also met with Chinese state owned firm MCC officials and shared with them necessary recommendations about the shifting of ancient artifacts from the site.

In 2008, the MCC signed a $2.83 billion deal with then Afghan government to mine the project for 30 years.

In 1399 solar year alone, 3100 historical artifacts were found at the site and the work related to the mine has progressed slowly and the extraction work has not yet started.

Three days ago, the MCC deputy chief executive met Mullah Ghani Baradar and said they will start practical work at the Mes Aynak mine after completely shifting antiquities from the area.
