Kuwait FM Meets Chinese Envoy For Middle East

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 15 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah met Tuesday visiting Chinese Special Envoy for the Middle East Zhai Jun.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the historical friendship between the two countries, and means of promoting and developing them in all domains.
They also discussed preparations for holding the Gulf-Chinese and the Arab-Chinese summits due in December 2022 in Saudi Arabia, and areas of cooperation and coordination.
They further discussed the latest developments on regional and international arenas.
Meanwhile, the Chinese official expressed his country's pride for the strategic partnership with Kuwait in all fields, including economy, investment, and trade.
He emphasized that Kuwait is a close friend to China. (end)
