Kuwait Parliament Session Ends


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 2 (KUNA) -- National Assembly Speaker Ahmad Al-Saadoun lifted the regular follow-up session on Wednesday after MPs approved a bill for amending the parliament by-law and discussing the Amiri Address.
The legislators blessed in the first and second readings a report by the parliamentary legislative and legal affairs porposing modifications to some articles of the law 12/1963 on the assembly by-law.
They also discussed the Amiri Address that marked inauguration of the first parliamentary regular session of the assembly 17th legislative term.
Al-Saadoun called the session off with a notification that the Amiri Address would be subject to further examination in the next regular session in the middle of November. (pickup previous)
