Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces H E Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit met with Principal Staff Officer of the Armed Forces Division in the Prime Minister's Office of Bangladesh H E Lieutenant-General Wakar-uz-Zaman and his accompanying delegation. 

They discussed aspects of military cooperation between the two sides and ways to enhance and develop them. A memorandum of understanding was signed on defence cooperation between the two sides. The meeting was attended by a number of senior officers of the Qatari Armed Forces.
