(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The south of Ukraine was again attacked by Iranian Shahed-136 kamikaze drones on Sunday evening. Eleven of them were shot down.

Within an hour – from 21:30 to 22:30 on October 16 – the Air Force members destroyed nine Shahed-136 kamikaze drones. The units of the National Guard and the Territorial Defense Forces of Ukraine downed one more Iranian drone each.

As reported, the Iranian authorities are preparing to hand over ballistic missiles to the Russian Federation which will probably be used in the war against Ukraine.
