Zelensky Holds Meeting Of Supreme Commander-In-Chief HQ


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has held a meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief to discuss the situation on the front line, the further de-occupation of Ukrainian territories, the preparation of the army for winter, and the issue of protecting critical infrastructure.

That's according to the of the head of state, Ukrinform reports.

'Information was heard about the current situation on the frontline and the recent actions of the enemy. The professional work of the units of the Armed Forces, which provide air defense of our country, was noted. Those present also emphasized the urgent need to provide the army with modern air defense and missile defense systems,' the report said.

The parties discussed steps for the further de-occupation of the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories. Minister of Internal Affairs Denys Monastyrskyi reported on the course of liquidation of the consequences of the destruction caused by the massive missile strikes of the Russian army, as well as on the measures taken to protect critical infrastructure facilities. The participants also considered the preparation of the army for the winter period.

According to the President's Office, the meeting was attended by Minister of Defense Oleksii Reznikov, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhny, Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate Kyrylo Budanov, Commander of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi and commanders of operational directions.

Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov, Minister of Internal Affairs Denys Monastyrskyi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba, Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov, heads of security and law enforcement agencies also joined the meeting of the Headquarters.
