Al Attiyah Third As Rallye Du Maroc Heads For Final Stage

Toyota Gazoo Racing's Qatari driver Nasser Saleh Al Attiyah and his French navigator Mathieu Baumel in their Toyota Hilux during the fourth stage of Rallye Du Maroc, from Laayoune to Tan Tan, Morocco, yesterday.

Al Attiyah, a six-time winner in Morocco, was third best in yesterday's stage, clocking a time of 03:14:10, 2 minutes and 30 seconds behind the stage winner Yazeed Al Rajhi (Overdrive Racing).

Overall leader Guerlain Chicherit (GCK Motorsport) came second, 1 minute and 30 seconds behind Al Rajhi. Frenchman Chicherit leads the general classification 9 minutes 57 seconds ahead of Orlando Terranova (Bahrain Raid Xtreme).

Chicherit is 28 minutes 37 seconds ahead of Al Attiyah. Today, the drivers and riders will compete in 185kms of special stages and 189 km of liaison, all along the Atlantic coast.
