DOHA: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index boosted its gains at the beginning of yesterday's trading, to gain 148.48 points, with a growth rate of 1.18 percent, to rise to the level of 12,698 points, compared to the end of Wednesday's trading.
Qatar Stock Exchange data indicated that the performance of five sectors improved, led by the industrial sector by 1.95 percent, the consumer goods and services sector by 1.42 percent, the real estate sector by 1.07 percent, the banking and financial services sector by 0.78 percent and the insurance sector by 0.20 percent. On the other hand, the telecommunications sector declined by 0.49 percent and the transportation sector by 0.2 percent.
Qatar Stock Exchange, at 10:00 am, recorded transactions worth QR152.181m , distributed over 63.495 million shares, with 4199 transactions.
