QC To Participate In 'Gulf-Jordanian Economic Forum' In Amman

Doha: A high-level delegation from Qatar Chamber of Commerce and industry presided over by its Chairman sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani is participating in the third edition of the 'Gulf-Jordanian Economic Forum' scheduled 27th to 28th September in the Capital of Jordan, Amman.

The forum, which is held under the theme:“New aspects for economic and investment cooperation”, is being organised by the Federation of Gulf Cooperation Council Chambers (FGCCC), in cooperation with the Secretariat General of GCC and the Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC).

The Chamber's delegation also includes board members Abdel-Rahman Abdel-Jalil Abdel-Ghani and Dr Mohamed Jawhar Al-Mohamed, as well as general manager Saleh bin Hamad Al Sharqi and Director of International Relations and Chamber Affairs of ICC Qatar 

H E Sheikha Tamader Al Thani alongside with a number of prominent businessmen. 

The to-day event aims at enhancing historical relations between GCC member states and Jordan; reviewing investment opportunities in economic and commercial sectors; and addressing top challenges facing the commercial GCC-Jordanian cooperation and means to overcome them.

The forum sessions will touch on horizons of economic and investment partnerships and available opportunities between both sides and will highlight presentations on investment climate in GCC state and Jordan. 

A panel discussion will be dedicated for reviewing the GCC-Jordan economic integration and shedding light on several economic subjects of mutual interests, in addition to discussing the latest developments that can boost GCC-Jordanian economic relations to realize the envisioned future.
