J&K Govt Grants Rs 1,840 Crore Financial Assistance To 53,299 Entrepreneurs In FY23
Srinagar, Sept 23 (KNN) To boost spirit of entrepreneurship in Jammu & Kashmir, the UT government has granted around Rs1,840 crore to 53,299 aspiring entrepreneurs this fiscal year.
For J&K's entrepreneurial ecosystem to thrive the government has devised a two-pronged plan as various reputable investors are investing here and assisting new entrepreneurs in becoming job suppliers.
In the last three years the J&K administration has hired 29,806 people and it was estimated that 5.2 lakh jobs have been created through self-employment programmes.
The government has introduced a variety of self-employment programmes during the last three years to aid young people in starting their businesses.
One of the J&K administration's most successful initiative has been the Mission Youth programme.
About 30,000 jobs have been provided to the youth in the government sector in the last three years. (KNN Bureau)
