Bahrain Expresses Concerns Over Current Situation In Libya
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Aug 28 (KUNA) -- The Kingdom of Bahrain expressed, on Sunday, extreme concern over the latest violence and unrest witnessed in the Libyan capital, which threatens the security of the country and its people.
In a statement wired by the Bahrain News Agency (Bana), the Foreign Ministry called Libyan parties to exercise self-restraint and have political dialogue to solve the ongoing conflict between the involved parties to achieve the security and stability in Libya.
The ministry renewed the Kingdom's supporting stand that would save its sovereignty, peace and stability.
Libyan Health Ministry said in a statement on Saturday that at least 12 people were killed and 87 others injured in clashes in Tripoli, calling on warring parties to allow rescue crews to reach and save all those in violence-hit areas. (end)
