Russian Missiles Hit Kharkiv Dorm: At Least Six Civilians Killed

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) As a result of the Russian missile attack on Kharkiv, six people were killed and another 16 were injured.

That's according to Oleh Syniehubov , head of Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.

'Unfortunately, the number of dead and wounded by a shelling of Saltivka has increased: six people died, 16 were injured,' the official wrote on Telegram.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky also reacted to the brutal attack.

'When you hear about Kharkiv's Saltivka district, it about pain, once again. Pain for all of Ukraine. Pain for Kharkiv. A missile attack... On a dormitory... The building was completely destroyed. We are verifying the exact number of casualties. A vile and cynical attack on civilians that has no justification and demonstrates the aggressor's powerlessness. We will not forgive, we will avenge this,' Zelensky wrote on Telegram.

Earlier, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that the attack took place near a residential building. Later, he clarified that as a result of the shelling, a massive fire set out in the apartment block, and that three people died.
