Mendoza: The favourites at the Mendoza Premier Padel P1, top seeds Alejandro Galan and Juan Lebron as well as Martin Di Nenno of Argentina and his Spanish partner Francisco Navarro, seeded number 2, made it to the last 16 after defeating their respective opponents in Mendoza, Argentina, on Thursday.
Federico Chingotto (ARG) and Juan Tello (ARG), Fernando Belasteguin (ARG) and Arturo Coello (ES), Pablo Lima (BRA) and Franco Stupaczuk (ARG), were also among others who advanced.
Spaniards Galan and Lebron, the winners of three out of four Premier Padel tournaments so far this season, defeated compatriots J Diestro and A Fernandez (13) 6-3, 6-4, while home favourite Nenno and his Spanish partner Navarro beat I Ramirez and M Semmler 6-4, 6-2 to advance.
