Cost Of Tea And Rice Slashed By Canteen Owners

The cost of a cup of tea and a packet of rice have been slashed by canteen owners.
The decision has been taken owing to the reduction in the price of domestic gas and fuel.
The All-Ceylon Restaurant Owners' Association said that the price of a cup of plain tea has been reduced to Rs. 30.
