The Rashid Khan Foundation, founded by Afghan cricketer Rashid Khan Arman, is reportedly constructing shelters for 25 families affected by the recent devastating earthquakes in Paktika province, in southeast Afghanistan.
The construction of shelters for the earthquake-stricken, impoverished people of Paktika has reportedly begun in the Barmal district of Paktika, according to some local media reports from Saturday, August 6.
These 25 families, according to reports in the local media, now live in the open after losing their homes in this area to the earthquake almost one month ago.
The locals, who have suffered the wrath of nature and lost loved ones, houses, and property, have welcomed and appreciated the Afghan cricketer's warm-hearted and generous gesture.
In several parts of the provinces of Paktika and Khost in southeastern Afghanistan, where a catastrophic earthquake occurred last month, there were numerous fatalities and significant property damage, and many displaced people are still living in the open.
The kind move comes at a time when the Taliban has allegedly distributed the allocated aid intended for the earthquake victims in the province to their own members.
