Jordan Decries Iraq's Saladin Terrorist Attack
Amman, July 20 (Petra) -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Wednesday condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a checkpoint in the Saladin Governorate, in north Baghdad, killing and injuring several from the Iraqi security forces.
The Ministry's spokesperson, Ambassador Haitham Abu Alfoul, expressed Jordan's 'strong' condemnation and denunciation of this 'cowardly terrorist attack,' adding that the Kingdom stands in solidarity with Iraq.
He expressed Jordan's condolences to the Iraqi government and people and to the families of the deceased. He wished for a speedy recovery for the injured.
