Iran, Nicaragua discuss on growing financial relations


(MENAFN) Iranian Deputy Industry, Mining, and Trade Minister Manouchehr Manteghi and Nicaragua’s Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Oscar Mojica Obregón highlighted the need for growing financial collaboration among Tehran and Managua in a conference on Tuesday.

Throughout the conference, the two parties urged for a deepening of financial ties and growths of industrial collaboration in numerous arenas such as railway, steel, plus cement, IRNA mentioned I a report.

Mentioning Iran’s significant industrial volumes and the Nicaraguan Government’s strategies to develop railroads, Manteghi stated that the Islamic Republic is prepared to collaborate with Nicaragua in all steps of railway development counting constructing railroads, procuring wagons and locomotives, controlling equipment, as well as improving the efficiency of railways.

He also uttered Iran’s willingness to ship cement and steel to the Latin American nation.
Obregón, in his turn, applauded Iran’s development in different areas regardless of international pressures and greeted the growth of exchange ties among the two nations.
