Moderate Weather Forecast Until Thursday

Amman, July 4 (Petra) -- A slight rise in mercury levels is expected on Monday, but it will remain fair in most parts of the Kingdom, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba where it will be hot, with low-altitude clouds in the northern region, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
Over the next three days, similar weather conditions will persist, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD said in its daily brief.
The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom on Monday will range between 28 and 32 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 20C or even 16C in the southern highlands. In the Gulf city of Aqaba, it will be much hotter with mercury reaching a high of 41C and a low of 27C.
