Rescuers Search For People Trapped Under Rubble After Russia's Missile Attack On Dnipro


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) One of six missiles fired by Russian invaders at Dnipropetrovsk Region has hit an industrial enterprise. Rescuers are searching for people trapped under the rubble.

The relevant statement was made by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council Head Mykola Lukashuk on Telegram , an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Two enemy missiles hit the regional center. One missile struck a motor transport enterprise, causing damage to about 35 cars within the adjacent territory. Three stalls, several one-storey buildings and hangar were also damaged. The other missile struck an industrial enterprise, having destroyed some structures. The Ukrainian State Emergency Service is now conducting rescue works, dismantling the rubble and searching for survivors,” Lukashuk wrote.

According to Daryna Tsurkan, the representative of the Main Department of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service in Dnipropetrovsk Region, a total of 41 rescuers and 11 fire-fighting equipment units are working at the scene.

A reminder that, on June 28, 2022, Russian occupiers fired six missiles at Dnipropetrovsk Region. The Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense units shot down four sea-based Kalibr missiles: three of them over Synelnyykove District and one over the city of Dnipro.
