Doha: The Ministry of Municipality removed 42 tonnes of sand accumulated due to wind.
Represented by the General Cleanliness Department and in coordination with the traffic patrols, the ministry has intensified its efforts to remove sand accumulated on the roads as a result of the strong winds and dust Qatar was exposed to recently.
In order to preserve the cleanliness and safety of the roads, about 42 tonnes of sand were lifted in the Al Wakrah area, the ministry said on Twitter.
