The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has clarified that the news circulating on social media about the theft of a vehicle from the Al Gharaffa area is false.
The MoI Sunday tweeted that the authorities investigated the matter and found that the news was incorrect, as no such theft had occurred.
The ministry highlighted the importance of checking the accuracy and credibility of what is published on social media. It also said legal measures would be taken against anyone who spreads such rumors and false information in society.
