Russian Troops Shell Sumy Region With Artillery Systems, Leaving Houses On Fire
(MENAFN- UkrinForm) This morning Russian troops have shelled the city of Seredyna-Buda, Sumy Region, with mortar and artillery systems.
The relevant statement was made by Sumy Regional Military Administration Head Dmytro Zhyvytskyi on Telegram , an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The shelling started at about 05:00 a.m. Seven mortar projectiles were followed by artillery fire,” Zhyvytskyi wrote.
At least six detached houses, household building and garage are now on fire. A power transmission line was also damaged. The damage caused is yet to be reported.
According to the preliminary data, there are no casualties among civilians.
A reminder that Russian troops continue assault operations in Sievierodonetsk, Luhansk Region. Hostilities are underway.
