45Th Session Of Arab Youth And Sports Council Kicks Off In Egypt


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Cairo, May 26, 2022, SPA – On behalf of Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports, Badr bin Abdulrahman Al-Qadi, Deputy Minister of Sports, headed the Kingdom's delegation to the meetings of the 45th session of the Council of Arab Youth and Sports Ministers, held today in Cairo.
The Council, at the closing session, elected its executive office for the next four years, chaired by Egypt, and the membership of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the UAE, Tunisia, Algeria, Iraq, Palestine, Kuwait, and Libya.
The Council thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for organizing the eighth Holy Sites Visit program for the Arab youth this year, and also agreed to organize the Arab Youth Empowerment Program in Saudi Arabia later this year.
The Ministerial Council urged the Arab countries to promote and support the culture of volunteering and participation in the events organized by Qatar, on the occasion of organizing the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
