(MENAFN) German police stated that Shots were fired at a school in the northern town of Bremerhaven on Thursday and one person was injured.
The police stated that one person was held after the gunfire and the wounded person was transferred to hospital.
German paper Bild had stated in a report that a second suspect was on the run, equipped with a crossbow, police added they were looking into the case to find out if more than one person was involved.
Bild added in its report that the gunfire happened at the Lloyd Gymnasium.
Online newspaper Nord24 stated that a schoolgirl who heard gunshots had informed the police, students secured themselves in their classrooms, it went further on.
