Agriculture Minster, Italian Envoy Discuss Cooperation

Amman, May 8 (Petra)--Minister of Agriculture, Khaled Hneifat, on Sunday met with Italy's Ambassador to Jordan, Luciano Pezzotti, on the relations between the two countries, and commended the Italian support for the agricultural sector and all sectors in the Kingdom.
Hneifat lauded the deep-rooted ties between the two countries, and spoke about difficulties and challenges facing the Jordanian agricultural sector.
He stressed the need to enhance cooperation and increase trade exchange between the two countries in light of the changes and crises in the world.
For his part, the Italian envoy lauded ties with Jordan and underlined the importance of bolstering them to serve the two countries.
