Foreign Ministers Of Georgia And Israel Discuss Economic Partnership
BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 7. Georgian Foreign Minister Ilya Darchiashvili had a telephone conversation with Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid, Trend reports via the Georgian Foreign Ministry.
The Foreign Ministers of Georgia and Israel discussed the development of economic relations and regional security. Yair Lapid congratulated his Georgian colleague on his appointment and wished him success in his future work.
During the telephone conversation, the ministers paid special attention to the historical friendship between Georgia and Israel and discussed the prospects for development between the two countries. The parties noted the great potential for economic cooperation between Georgia and Israel.
Meanwhile, diplomatic, commercial, and cultural ties between Georgia and Israel were formally established on June 1, 1992.
