KSrelief project 'Masam' dismantles 1,444 mines in Yemen within a week
(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, April 11, 2022, SPA -- King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center“Masam” project to clear Yemeni lands of mines managed during the first week of April 2022 AD to dismantle 1,444 mines planted by the Houthi militia in various regions of Yemen, including 19 anti-personnel mines, 784 anti-tank mines, 640 unexploded ordnance and one explosive device.
The number of mines dismantled since the beginning of the“Masam” project so far has reached 330,981 mines planted by the Houthi militia indiscriminately throughout Yemen to claim more innocent victims of children, women and the elderly, while the Kingdom – represented, by KSrelief project, continues clearing the Yemeni lands of mines, and contributing to helping Yemeni people to live a decent life.
