Georgia shares data on those arriving from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus

BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 17. Some 30,400 Russian citizens arrived from Russia from February 24 to March 16, 2022, since the beginning of the hostilities between Russia and Ukraine, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Vakhtang Gomelauri said, Trend reports via Georgian media.
However, according to the minister, 17,800 of those arriving from Russia have already left, while 12,000 remain in Georgia. Those remaining are staying mostly in Georgia's Gudauri, Bakuriani and Tbilisi.
The minister noted that there is a large increase in visitors from Belarus - 15,767 citizens arrived in Georgia in the reporting period of 2022.
Meanwhile, the number of Ukrainian citizens is quite average - 8,688 people, Gomelauri added.
