Antalya to be visited by +9M travelers in 2021
(MENAFN) In line with data from the local administration, the famous Turkish resort city of Antalya held over 9 million foreign tourists in 2021 year.
Antalya welcomed 9.09 million travelers last year, rising 164 percent in contrast to 2020 when it was visited by only 3.4 million foreign travelers as a result of global epidemic restrictions.
Russia, between foreign travelers to the Turkish Riviera resort, was the first with 3.58 million, then Ukraine and Germany with 1.27 million.
In December, the city welcomed 61,848 foreign visitors, increasing 213 percent on an annual basis.
