Saudi - KSrelief Organizes Virtual Discussion Session entitled 'Protecting Children from Exploitation in Conflict'

(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, Dec. 17, 2021, SPA -- King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has organized a virtual discussion session, entitled 'Protecting Children from Exploitation in Conflict', with the participation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the Child Protection Unit, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), and the Plan International, it was reported today.
During the session, which took place the day before yesterday, ways to combat the phenomenon of child exploitation in conflict areas, the experience of bodies working in the field of child protection, the international laws, procedures and efforts made in this field, and the importance of promoting children's rights during and after conflicts were discussed.
