I have a B. Agr. Sci (UQ, 1983), Ph.D. (UQ 1988), Dr Sci. (UQ 2012). My professional career spans 31 years from 1988 to 2019 with CSIRO in Darwin as a research scientist in the field of environmental science specializing in vegetation dynamics and fire ecology. I am an author of more than 100 peer reviewed journal papers and book chapters.
