Jordan - Huneiti attends closing ceremony of national safety drill

(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Wednesday night attended the conclusion of the national "safety and security" drill carried out by the National Centre for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM) in cooperation with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), security apparatuses, various state organisations and the private sector. NCSCM Deputy Director Brig. Gen. Hatem Zu'bi also attended the closing ceremony, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The three-day drill included several real-life scenarios simulating weather conditions and events targeting public safety with the aim to increase the capacity to deal with crises and catastrophes and develop the capabilities of state institutions and their employees.
