Morocco stops Britain, Germany, Netherlands airlifts due to virus spread

The North African kingdom’s airports official stated that the fresh regulation will take place right before 12 AM on Wednesday, Oct. 20.

National carrier Royal Air Maroc included in a tweet that the step was because of “the pandemic situation,” It did not offer additional information.

On Monday, Oct. 18 Morocco’s Health Ministry cautioned that the risk of a fresh virus spread, emphasizing “the need to avoid possible a relapse of serious and critical cases and COVID-19-related deaths, which have occurred in several European countries.”
