(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, October 12, 2021, SPA -- In its forecast report of the weather for today in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) said the appearance of a formation of thunderstorms over the Jazan region and parts of the Asir and Al-Baha region, which may extend to the heights of Makkah and Al-Madinah as well as parts of the northern border and Al-Jawf regions (Tarif, Al-Qurayyat).
NCM pointed out that the surface wind movement on the Red Sea will be southwesterly to westerly at a speed of 10-30 km/h. At night it turns northeast to southeast at a speed of 10-20 km/h, and the wave height is from half a meter to a meter and a half, and the condition of the sea is light.
It reported for the Arabian Gulf area that the movement of surface winds on the Arabian Gulf, from west to northwest, shifting in the afternoon to northeasterly at a speed of 10-30 km/h, from one to one and a half meters, and the sea condition is light to medium waves.
