Saudi Arabia: Aramco might sell a share of oil unit
(MENAFN) Aramco, Saudi oil company, is thinking about putting a share for sale in its retail oil and lubricants market, and might post stakes on the Riyadh stock exchange, Bloomberg mentioned naming persons who are knowledgeable with the case.
Discussions regarding an initial public offering (IPO) have recently started, the individuals reported, requesting not to be recognized talking about secretive concerns.
They mentioned that Aramco might oppose any offer.
Bloomberg said during this week that five North American firms are bidding for a contract to trade a stake of Aramco's gas pipelines.
