PISQ students grab first four spot in HSSC-II exams 2021

Doha: Pakistan International School-Qatar (PISQ) leads all Pakistani schools in Doha with the top four positions in the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Annual Examination 2021 of federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), Islamabad. The result was announced by Federal Board Islamabad recently.

In session 2021, PISQ registered 141 students for the HSSC-II Annual Examination 2021, all declared successful, marking a 100 percent pass ratio with 38 A1, 32 A, and 34 B grades. Madiha Khan with 1083/1100 marks, Hafsa Muhammad Abdullah with 1080/1100 marks, Maria Aziz with 1079/1100 marks, and Haroon Ali with 1078/1100 marks grabbed the first four positions in all Doha-based Pakistani schools. 

Hamna Maheen with 1052, Shabee Zainab Pirzada with 1032 marks, Zoya Arshad Karim with 1018 marks, Manal Syed with 1013 marks, Khalifa Janar Khan with 1010 marks, Hafsa Farhan with 1009 marks, and Fatima Mohammad Yousaf with 1005 marks are among students who crossed the threshold of 1000 marks.

For PISQ, Abdullah, Aziz, and Ali secured first, second and third positions with 1080, 1079, and 1078 marks respectively in the Pre-Medical group, whereas Khan, Karim, and Janar Khan grabbed first, second and third positions with 1083, 1018, and 1010 marks respectively in the Pre-Engineering group. 

Eiman Iftikhar secured the first position in the Science General group with 992 marks, Marzia Baqir Ali secured the second position with 991 marks, and Mishal Fazil got the third position with 896 marks.

Sana Sneha Kay, Afreen Ghulam Murtaza, and Aleshba Riaz Ali secured first, second and third positions with 950, 922, and 920 marks respectively in the Commerce group. Ramsha Rizwan, Roshaney Butt, and Shemaa Mohammad Iraq secured the top three with 924, 912, and 900 marks in the Humanities group, respectively.

The principal of PISQ, Nargis Raza Otho, congratulated students, parents, and teachers on the outstanding results of the exams. 

“I am happy to see a lot of improvement in the board results every year. Everyone deserves to be congratulated, especially the students who really worked hard despite the trying times of COVID-19,” Otho said. 

Ambassador of Pakistan to Qatar H E Syed Ahsan Raza Shah also congratulated the school principal, teachers, students, and their parents on the brilliant performance of the students in the Federal Board Examinations. 

He said,“I extend my heartiest congratulations to all the successful students, their parents, and teachers. I am pleased to hear that Pakistan International School has produced 100 percent results, and a majority of the students have achieved A1 and A grades in the HSSC Annual Examinations 2021.”

While appreciating the efforts of the school management and staff, the envoy hoped that the school would continue producing better results in the years to come.
