(MENAFN) On Friday, Turkey's benchmark stock index ended the day at 1,419.43 points, increased 0.1 percent from the last close.
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index increased 1.4 points from Thursday's close of 1,418.03 points, after opening the day at, 424.04 points.
The index's lowest value in the day stood at 1,412.23 points, as its daily high amounted at 1,427.07 points.
The total market rate of the BIST 100 reached 1.07 trillion Turkish liras (USD127 billion) by market end, with a daily trading rate of over 12 billion Turkish liras (USD1.4 billion).
A total of 40 stocks on the index increased, 53 dropped, and seven remained unchanged in comparison to Thursday's close.
