Turkey: Machines exports hit USD7.5b


(MENAFN)Turkey's machines exports hit USD7.5 billion throughout the January-April period, augmenting by USD1.3 billion compare to the same period in 2019.
Turkey's Machinery Exporters' Association declared on Monday, May 17, that Turkey sent machinery goods weighing approximately 1.2 million tons to foreign countries throughout the first four months.
Kutlu Karavelioglu, the leader of the association, stated that the association will continue to compare this year’s statistics with 2019 to reveal export performance.
The sector's exports to its major 10 destinations hit USD3.5 billion in the January-April period, it augmented from USD2.5 billion in the same period in 2020 and USD2.9 billion in the same period in 2019, Karavelioglu added.
